The Chosen Ordinary: Backstory

Cromwell was a city known for its growing technology that was mainly focused in medical research. The 3 heroes were college students who were attending an event that was hosted by a brilliant geneticist, demonstrating a government project. The project was aimed at developing the human body's potential to self-heal, increase one's strength, and grant super natural abilities. During one of the experiments, an unforeseen accident occurred, exposing Ava, Derick, and Jack who happened to be college students on a shadowing gig, to the bioengineered genes.

The exposure triggered a transformation within the three students, granting them the abilities mentioned above, where Ava got the ability to heal wounds and illnesses almost instantaneously, Jack got the ability to control the element of fire on his will and Derick was granted super strength.

Ava (Life Weaver):

Upon realisation, Ava later joined a paramedic team where she used her healing abilities to heal injuries in secret.

Derick (Sentinal);

He used to be a star athlete at his formal college, but later on drop it to become a police officer, in order to avoid accidentally hurting his opponents during matches, and to put his powers for a good cause instead.

                                            

Jack (Red Blaze);

As for Jack, he was already following his father's footstep, who happened to be a fire fighter when the incident occurred. After getting his powers, her was now more determined than ever to become one since he was one with the flames and can easily go through burning buildings with ease with the help of his mask.  

Lastly, the three heroes where united during the wild fire that occurred which required them to come together to save the day, and the people.
