Wix Website Update.
In this post, I will be sharing my the updates that I will be making as I start making my portfolio for this term. I have already created a new page where I will be adding my portfolio.
The changes that I am already planning to make includes the font, background image, and the colour of the webpage. I will be changing both the colour and font in order to give it the super hero theme.
Considering that most famous super heroes have a bright red in their suites, I decided to change the header and footer colour to red, Which brightened the webpage. As for the font, after scrolling through the menu to find the one that best suited the Super hero theme, I settled for Kelly Slab.
In addition, since I had no socials for both the blog and the Instagram linked previously, I made sure add them this time.
I also changed the background of the webpage from the old cover page, and added a new one for this project, in order to clearly show what it is about.
After creating the new page, I then linked it to the button that can be found on my portfolio page. To do this, I right clicked on the button, and then clicked on the link icon which led me to the menu below, which is where I selected the new page that I created. This will allow a user to be redirected to the recent project instead of navigating through the whole website.
After linking the new page, I then changed the background image and the added the image of the cover page that I had created for the homepage, to once again show what a viewer is to expect. In order to add my characters with a description, I left clicked on the screen and then clicked on manage media, which is where I imported images for my characters, and then added their short description in the available text box in the menu.
I did no like the layout so I decided to customize it by once again using left click and then clicking settings, and then design, which is where I chose the layout of the images and the text on the web page.
Afterwards, I added a short introduction for my animation in the text box that was above the characters. In addition, I finally added the animation at the very bottom of the page for the viewers to watch after reading the about the character. To do this, I navigated towards the right hand side menu and clicked on add elements and then video and music where I then selected the video upload option.
Lastly, I dragged it to the end of the web page, and then imported my animation by left clicking on the template, and then manage media, where I imported the animation.
