Initial Research.
In this terms project, I will be animating a scene on the wild fire that broke out in Cromwell. Since this animation project will require me to animate a lot of background shots, I managed to find an easy way to animate them which allows me to save time which was inspired by the animation from overwatch bellow (from 0:10 to 0:25), containing a background animation where the camera seems to be panning across the landscapes.
In order to make an animation about a natural disaster, I will be looking at the different procedures that rescue teams such as fire fighters or paramedics go carry out to save lives and minimize casualties. The video below that I looked at shows how a life boat crew responds to emergencies of people stranded out in the ocean, and also shows how fast they act when it comes to emergencies. I will also look at what procedures fire fighters and police officers do when it comes to natural disasters such as wildfires, which is what my animation is about.
