Art Portfolio: 3D Project scene 3
In this scene, I animated the guard that was shot by the main character fall down. this was one of the trickiest scene I worked on yet which involved a lot of experimenting with different tools in the software. This includes the following.
The way I managed to pull it off was by first animating his hand move up to his chest where he was shot to create some reaction to it.
I also made sure to not ignore the gun that he was holding, so I also animated it slowly dropping to the ground.
After the arm got all the way to the chest, I started to work on the rest of the body as well to animate him fall.
I started off by drawing with his knees bend a little, and got lower through out the frames. I also made sure to not forget about the gun that he was holding.
After he got to his knees, I then started working on his upper body fall to the ground. I did this in a different way so instead of drawing him fall to the ground.
I used the move object tool, where I then selected the sketch and slightly lowered it on each frame, to make it look like he is falling.
This scene was very hard to animate but I am glad that I managed to pull it off and I liked it due to the fact that I managed to make it look like he was indeed falling.
