Welcome to Summer Term One

Welcome to the first term of this summer. During this summer term, I am planning to get out of my comfort zone and try out new styles in my art with the aim of improving my character designs and world- building skills.

Over the break, I started learning how to use Blender which is a software that is used to create both 2D and 3D visual effects and models. I managed to create a small landscape with collapsing pillars. What inspired me to do this was after seeing a 3D Nike Billboard of invisible models with just clothes one marching as models.

This was the Ice breaker challenge that we did during this week, and with the help of my colleague we recreated Rene Magritte's The lovers.
We used two grey T shirts, with a black background  in the photography room.

  1. Ange it would be good this term if you could start with writing much more here - you should have used at least three references and you need to add more detail and depth. The recreation is good but perhaps you could add some reflection and thought about the image you created.
