Software choices: Photoshop Practice.

Today we are practicing making a presentation boards for a gallery in Wix, using photoshop.

I clicked 'file' and 'new' and through the dialog box, I then clicked on 'print' and then chose the A3 canvas size. With 300 pixels and a white back ground, I clicked 'create'.

In addition, I added my project's title and subtitle using the text tool on the menu. The subtitle was a little too big so I changed the size from '72' to '48'. I then used the menu on the Text tool to change the font to 'Colonna MT'. I then went back to my move tool to adjust the positioning of my text.

With the help of 'Free Logo design' I then created a logo with a brand name. I the saved it as PNG, and on photoshop I opened it, selected it and pasted it onto the canvas.

For the image I used on of the characters that I had created, and emailed it to myself and saved it as a JPEG. Afterwards, I navigated towards 'File' and clicked on opened which is where I selected my image, and pasted it onto my canvas.

Furthermore, I added another text box found at the left menu, and described what will be displayed in  the portfolio. I changed the back ground from white to a red gradient which can be found at the top right menu corner, on the third tab that says 'gradients'. Since I didn't like the was my image's back ground stood out, i used the 'Quick selection tool' to separate the character from the background and pasted it on my canvas.

  1. Good you have done this from class, in fact all your work is just from class and there is no self study - you need to have your self study work on here as you will need this to pass this blog and to complete your project
